Division in the House of God?

Since this edition of the Zion's Messenger and
Advocate is going to several fundamentalist
leaders here in Utah, I feel that it is important to
launch into a discussion of that most dreadful
subject. keys and authority. If we are to believe
that D&C 132 still holds, and has not been
abrogated nor done away with in that the Lord has
not changed in the last 150 or 60 years, then this
means that there still has to be that one man unto
whom God has committed the keys, for in the
word of the Revelation: '...there is but one on the
earth at any time upon whom this power and the
keys of this priesthood are conferred...' D&C
132:7. In scripture this man is referred to as the
Lord's anointed, and there is but one at any time
on the earth. We can look back in history and see
plainly who had the keys of the higher Priesthood
which is after the Order of them of old, even
Melchizedek and Enoch, who were translated, and
who were after the Order of an endless life: the one
man at any time who stood at the gate for his
generation as Peter, holding the keys of the
salvation of his generation. Such men as Noah1
Abraham, Enoch, Samuel, Joseph Smith, Jesus,
Peter, Nathan, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Elijah, John
Taylor, Briqham Young, to name a few, and
wherever this Priesthood was, there was the power
of godliness made manifest unto men, and without
this power, godliness was not manifest.

Among those who are mainstream Mormon, there
will be no disagreement. Where the divergence
comes among those who are termed Mormon,
whether they be fundamentalist, or mainstream, is
succession to this authority after John Taylor, for
at the death of John Taylor, were not radical
changes imposed upon the Mormons by a foreign
gentile power, and this by force, by the combined
military might of 100 million gentiles whose ire
was raised by a lying and bigoted press
establishment, and corrupt politicians who used
this question for political advantage? If one is to
believe the 1886 Revelation to John Taylor upon
the subject of somehow the Lord suspending an
inviolable law, which had substantially resulted in
the shedding of Joseph and Hyrum's blood by
already inflamed and antagonized mobs of gentile
militias, then the Priesthood and the keys thereof
went into the wilderness where it remains to this
day. Where is this man, this Lord's anointed, then?
Was the priesthood taken hack into heaven, or is it.
still upon the earth? Of course Christians do not
even :accept the concept of living oracles, so to
them the problem is moot.  If it is still upon the
earth, however, then that means that the Lord's
anointed is alive today, who is receiving revelation
of the mind and will of God for the people to live
today.

Would it not be a gross error on the part of any
group to claim this authority and not have it?
Would not this be deserving of the harshest
punishment from God in eternity for perpetrating a
hoax or fraud upon the world, or at least those
within their influence, and perverting the right way
of the Lord, even though the prayer was made:
Father forgive them, for they know not what they
do'?   If it is a certainty that the Lord's anointed is
now upon the earth, then who is that man? If any
can come forward with claims, I will entertain
them, for  there fruits1 ye shall know them. A
mistake in this and other area, would indicate in
eternity, that any wives sealed improperly or
without authority, would not be recognized by the
Lord, for He has said,
"Shall I receive that which I have not appointed?"

Now my purpose in writing this newsletter is
not to antagonize, or foist my views upon any
person, but merely to reason in plainness upon the
subject and to provide a forum for  who are
unafraid of the light. Also to the mainstream
Mormons, the problem is moot, for to them, the
President of the Church is the Lord's anointed. And
I welcome them to submit arguments to support
this belief, and I will print them. But to them who
are "fundamentalist", there are numerous claims,
and these factions are in either a hot or cold war,
as it were, and where there is no communication,
misunderstandings continue to divide the people of
the Lord, and is His spirit not grieved by this state
of affairs, and does not the devil laugh with his
chains, as the people are bound down by this state
of affairs, and is not Zion held back, for when the
people see eye to eye, then the Lord shall bring
again Zion,.  (See Isaiah 52)

Now to the Mormons who are in the
mainstream, I would submit the argument that the
Lord's anointed may be someone other than the
President of the Church, and I shall use to bolster
my argument statements prior to 1890 of
authorities on the definitions of the Kingdom of
God as contained in the official publications of the
Church. And if there are faults, they be the faults
of men, and not of God.  thus does not
sectarianism with its accompanying division
extend its woes among Christianity, but also to
Mormonism, and those who believe in the
restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through
Joseph the Seer?  For these are they who are some
of Apollos, some of Kimball, some of Paul, some
of Allred, some of Lebaron, and tenants ye shall
not teach, saith the Lord. Any group who does not
have the mind and will of God being
communicated to them through the medium of
Lord's anointed, will suffer damnation in eternity,
saith the Lord, for they come not unto me in the
manner appointed, even as them of old, and there
is no division in heaven, saith the Lord God. For
my house is a house of order, and not confusion.
And shall I receive anything than that which I have
appointed? Therefor if it be not according to my
Order, then it is not of me, arid he who seeketh to
climb up some other way than that which I the
Lord God have appointed shall be blocked by the
angels and the Gods who stand at the gate. And my
gospel, saith the Lord, is the same in all ages of the
world, and them who be with me, saith the Lord
see eye to eye in all things and are one God, even
eloheim. And where these things are not, there my
gospel is not, and the power of godliness unto
salvation is therefor not manifest unto men in the
flesh. (This revelation I received even as this
newsletter was written.) And does not D&C 76
indicate that among the inhabitants of the telestial
kingdoms are these sectarian followers? And these
groups, are they not guilty of the same sectarian
strife over polygamy that characterized their
predecessors in being damned, saith the Lord? And
are these not thrust down to hell, as per the
wording in 76th Section?  Is this not a pitfall to be
strenuously avoided?  Would not the torment, for
instance of a Tom Green, for example, be exquisite
when he sees his wives in eternity being given to
an obedient servant of the Lord, who did not run
ahead of the Lord's anointed in these matters
promoting the devils work by bringing scorn upon
the way spoken of, becoming a law unto himself,
as a Jimmy Swaggert, perverting the right way of
the Lord and neither caring nor seeking or
defending the Kingdom of God as commanded?
And thus saith the Lord, I have caused that he has
been brought into judgment for his scorn of things
that are holy and mocking the right path. For I have
caused that he hath been delivered up for
prosecution for mine anger is kindled against him
for his proud looks and his flaunting of the law.
For his suffereing shall be exquisite, yea how
exquisite ye know not, and how terrible ye know
not, saith the Lord God of the One Mighty and
Strong who writeth these things.   In the words of
Joseph: "The disappointment that  will suffer in
the resurrection, anhialation would be preferable".
And besides, does not a Mr. Green have his
reward, the same as those who make long prayers
on the street corners, to be noticed of men, does he
not have his reward, saith the Lord? Isn't it better
to be sure of one's religion, instead of running
helter skelter here and there multiplying wives,
independent of the Lord's anointed in these
matters, consulting no one but one's self, much as
a Jiimmy Swaggert jumps up claiming to be a
minister of the gospel, when the scriptures plainly
state, "No one taketh this honor unto himself,
except he is called and ordained as was Aaron"?
How much more so does this apply in the matter of
polygamy, and its attendant abuses, and murders?
Is not this confusion and strife to be done away, by
correct knowledge and doctrine upon the subject?
Does not anyone fear the Lord anymore, enough to
stop in their headlong rush into eternity, taking
upon themselves authority which is not theirs to
take? Is this not heinous in the extreme? Should
we not cross ourselves in these things?  Are we
excused in error because there is so much
confusion upon this subject of who is the Lord's
anointed?  Come out of her, even Babylon, my
people, saith the Lord. Now I maintain that where
the Lord's anointed is, there the Kingdom of God
is, and where the Lord's anointed is not, there the
Kingdom of God is not  And if the Lord's anointed
and the Kingdom of God are the same thing, then
the fruits and characteristics of the kingdom are
the same. Arid where these fruits are not, there,
saith the Lord, the kingdom is not.  Joseph Smith,
in Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith said
there are two requirements for the kingdom of God
to exist: 1. a legal administrator and 2. the oracles
of God. (See TPJS) I believe the President Of the
Mormon Church may legitimately advocate a
claim to be a legal administrator, but for the fact
that Heber J. Grant changed the method of
ordination to an incorrect method thirty years
which was then changed back by David O McKay.
But the oracles implies revelation.  If there is no
revelation, then this group fails to meet the second
requirement. I would like for the Mormon Church
to produce a revelation received by a President of
the Church, as per the oracles requirement. If they
cannot, then I advocate that there the kingdom of
God is not, as per the statement of Joseph Smith.
(TPJS p.271-274) Since there is no division in the
kingdom of God, then they are one with ancient
and latter oracles, there being no clash between the
two, saith the Lord, for where there is division in
doctrine or principle there the kingdom of God is
not. I think these things are obvious to children and
all but great, big elders. So if there is conflict
between ancient and modern oracles, then there
must needs be another war in heaven produced
from the sectarian strife here being transferred
there, which thing shall not be, saith the lord God,
for they shall be cut off from my presence forever,
and shall not pass  the angels and the Gods that are
appointed to stand there, barring the way with a
drawn sword, even as that angel barred Adam from
reaching forth and plucking from the tree of life.
And since manifestos are not revelations, but
manifestos, which are defined merely to be public
statements only, then these are not oracles or the
word of God but of men. This subterfuge again is
obvious even to children, and if children are not
fooled by this subterfuge, is God and honest men
and women?

News and Views:  Ogden Kraut is coming out with
a new book, (as per a letter to me) dealing with
new revelation, revelation without the church,
since it seems, he and I agree, the oracles of God
may have gone in a different direction than the
man elected to be President of the
Church, and since the Church may
choose "Ann Lee" to be their
President, or old men who are
popular, then in the words of
Brigham Young, "I have the keys of the
priesthood, and have the means of obtaining the
mind and will of God upon the subject".  Then it
follows that not only the oracles, but the Lord's
anointed may be different than that generally
supposed by the members of the Church. I wish
Ogden well in his very important work of
discovering and preserving true doctrine, that the
devil may be brought to light in his lies in
transforming himself into an angel of light and his
ministers into ministers of righteousness, since the
devil may always be detected by his contradicting
former revelation, since God does not vary from
that which he hath said, neither is there any
shadow of turning, either to the right or to the left,
but his course is one eternal round, and his paths
are straight. This principle, I think, is obvious in
simplicity and plainness in which it is impossible
to err. As Brigham Young also said, "You cannot
find modern prophets clashing with ancient
ones...if at all times men are governed by the Spirit
of the Lord, their counsel is the same."  Thus this
work is of inestimable importance, and no one
does this better than Ogden Kraut.

Being led to a sincere small group of
individuals who have been earnestly praying and
communicating with God concerning his will
toward  them,  desiring  to  build up Zion
according to the Holy Order of God, and I pray
with them that all differences be done away, that
there be no jarrings and strife, that we see eye to
eye, that the heavenly Jerusalem may descend,
there being that agreement, that his kingdom come
and his will be done on earth as it is in heaven. I
met with them last Saturday, and gave them some
of the revelations of Jesus Christ, which I have
received, and will meet again this Saturday (July).
I know there are thousands, for truly the field is
white and ready to harvest, of disaffected members
of the Mormon faith, who are not being fed
spiritually and who see the contradiction and
hypocrisy manifested and I know that a righteous
remnant can be gathered out unto the Lord's
anointed. They too, however, have some errors in
doctrine which I have detected, but I pray that all
division may be ended, between ancient and
modern, and that the spirit of innovation may be
recognized for what it is, for it is only that old
serpent, the devil, the same which beguiled our
mother Eve:  a key, only that which is Eternal is of
God.

Now this bring's me again to the subject of the
Lord's anointed.  Many believe that many persons
have the keys to perform marriages, sealings, etc,
and that the keys are shared by many. But as
Joseph said, "If any man writes to you or preaches
to you, doctrines contrary to the Bible, Book of
Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, set him down
as an imposter." Times & Seasons; April 1, 1844.
He also said, 'Truth and error, good and evil
cannot be reconciled.' TPJS, p. 326. In another
place Joseph also said, "How may the bad angel be
detected? ... by his contradicting a former
revelation" TPJS, pp 214-15. And so, from these
statements are we to conclude that there is no
righteous standard by which to judge matters of
doctrine? Did not God, our Father not give us
intelligence to discern light from darkness? Are we
to be tempest tossed, carried about by every wind
of doctrine, by the cunning craftiness of men,
wherein they lie in wait to deceive? Are we left
without hope having no rule or standard which is
reliable to judge? Is it any small  wonder that those
who deviate from the scripture, do away with them
because they do not conform with them? What if a
carpenter threw away his rule when erecting a
building? Would the building thus erected be
pleasing to the eye, or would it not be
reprehensible and an eyesore, having no
symmetry? Is not the same gospel that saved
Abraham and Adam on a different world, the same
that must save us? Is there disunity in heaven
among Eloheim? Do they not conform to
righteousness in every particular? Did Jesus go to
anybody to be baptized, or did he not go to the one
man that had the keys of this authority? Did
several men have the right to simultaneously
baptize Jesus, or was there only one at that time,
even John, who had the keys of the kingdom of
God? Does not D&C 132 not say, '...and there is
only one at any one time on the earth ixi whom the
keys of this authority are conferred?  And I, Art
Bulla, hereby declare without equivocation, that I
am that man unto whom the oracles are committed
and the keys of that sealing power spoken of to
bind on earth what is bound in heaven. And the
Father hath revealed unto me that there is one
anointed at the gate for this generation that this
generation must pass by to get the further approval
from others also appointed, and there is no disunity
between respective generations who each have had
their anointed who stands at the gate for them, and
thus there is no disunity in the third heaven on
these matters which are spiritual in nature.

And the sum of the matter seems to be that all
modern Lyman Wights need to stop their braying
upon the mountains as the wild asses they are, and
gather home to Israel, I command it in the name of
Israel1s God. Even so. Amen
