Obfuscation Techniques of Van Hale
Mr. Hale, being a propagandist, employs the following technique for obfuscation and cover-up without batting an eyelash-a true sign of a sociopath, I might add, concerning Aaron's call in to his program, "Mormon Miscellaneous" on Sunday, Aug 5, 2007.
05:39 PM : Aaron said: Joseph Smith talked about the "state of corruption of the Jewish Church"
05:39 PM : Aaron said: he (Joseph Smith) applied it to the present state of the Church
05:39 PM : Aaron said: "if the church ever departed from the Lord it must fall"
At this point, Mr. Hale interrupted as is his want, and asked for the source of the above.
05:39 PM : Aaron said: TPJS (Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, compiled by Joseph Fielding Smith).
Then Mr. Hale asked him for the page no, which Aaron, quoting from a memory, could not supply, not having it immediately on the tip of his tongue . So Mr. Hale then felt safe in disparaging the quote, something to the effect of "Joseph Smith never said such a thing", while Hale was perfectly aware that although there might be a word or two not quoted entirely accurately, that the substance and intent was indeed in the volume--TPJS, knowing that Aaron could not immediately respond with the page no. Thus Mr. Hale characteristically counted on the gross ignorance of his audience to sustain him, casting doubt thereby on Aaron's words intentionally murdering against the light and crucifying the Lord afresh to protect his false religion as all Pharasees do. You see, Mr. Hale, along with all cultural Mormons, make the assumption that any revelation not passed through the quorums of the Church--it being an infallible body in his mind--is not valid, and that any Prophet must be approved of and voted upon by the Church to be a true prophet. This, however, was contradicted by the quote which Aaron used giving the obvious caveat: "if the people (i.e. the Church) ever departed from the Lord they (the Church) must fall". By surrendering the Covenants God made with Abraham by giving the Black Race of Cain, the Negro, all of the blessings reserved only for Israel (thus saith the Lord, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the House of Israel), surely the people departed from the Lord as prophesied by one of the greatest prophets of Israel ever, Brigham Young:
"Let this Church which is called the Kingdom of God on the earth. We will summons the First Presidency, the Twelve, the High Council, the Bishopric, and all the Elders of Israel, suppose we summons them to appear here, and here declare that it is right to mingle our seed, with the black race of Cain, that they shall come in with us and be partakers with us of all the blessings that God has given to us. on that very day and hour we should do so, the Priesthood is taken from this church and kingdom and god leaves us to our fate. The moment we consent to mingle with the seed of Cain, the Church must go to destruction. We should receive the curse which has been placed upon the seed of Cain, and never more be numbered with the children of Adam who are heirs to the Priesthood until that curse be removed." Brigham Young Addresses, Ms D, 1234, Box 48, Folder 3, dated Feb. 5, 1852, located in the LDS Historical Dept. SLC, UT
I ask you to compare the following quote from TPJS with what Aaron said in answer to the hectoring of Van Hale:
President Joseph Smith read the 14th chapter of Ezekiel-said the Lord had declared by the Prophet, that the people should each one stand for himself, and depend on no man or men in that state of corruption of the Jewish church-that righteous persons could only deliver their own souls-applied it to the present state of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints-said if the people departed from the Lord, they must fall-that they were depending on the Prophet, hence were darkened in their minds, in consequence of neglecting the duties devolving upon themselves, envious towards the innocent, while they afflict the virtuous with their shafts of envy. TPJS p. 237.
So Mr. Hale is a typical Judas Goat leading the unwary to destruction with his false doctrine.
